Use the microphone button in Klang. The meeting goes straight into the right folder.
You learn to: record a meeting in the room, choose a folder before you start, and pause and upload.
Click the microphone button in the bottom left corner and choose Record a transcription. The calendar only covers online meetings, so this is how you record in-person meetings.
Give the meeting a name and choose a folder under Where do you want to save your recording? The folder decides who has access to the meeting. You can always move the meeting afterward. Open the folder and click Save here.
Click Start recording. Have everyone say their name at the start, so it's easier to get the right speaker names. Audio played on your computer isn't recorded, so for online meetings you use the meeting assistant.
Click the pause button when you talk about something that shouldn't be included. What's said during the pause isn't recorded. Click the microphone to continue.
Click the pause button to end the recording. Check the folder and click Upload. Under Advanced you can enter the number of speakers if you know it. Discard recording deletes it. Klang asks first. You get an email when the meeting is ready.
Done. Tip: the mobile app works the same way and is discreet in the room. Next: Add Klang to an online meeting.
